The starting point

A stack of delivery notes arrives in the parts department every day. Every line has to be checked against open orders, line by line, by hand. Backorders only surface when a customer asks. At the same time, warehouse tasks are assigned to people who are not in the building today.

Our solution

A PDF delivery note is uploaded, an AI reads out every line and matches it against the open orders. Unambiguous matches post themselves, ambiguous ones land with the warehouse manager in order: courtesy cars first, then priority, then age. Once an order is complete the status flips to done and the notification to the warehouse manager goes out automatically. Task assignment asks the staff planner first who is actually scheduled today, and rotates fairly across 90 days.

  • Upload a PDF delivery note, every line is read out by an AI
  • Unambiguous matches post themselves against the open order
  • Ambiguous cases land with the warehouse manager, sorted: courtesy cars first, then priority, then age
  • Once the order is complete the status flips and the notification goes out automatically
  • Tasks only go to people scheduled in today, with fair rotation across 90 days

Why PK Solutions

At Autohaus Rapp five systems talk to each other. The warehouse app asks the staff planner who is even in today before it assigns tasks. That is the difference from five tools bought off the shelf.
